FADE

Fade blending mode, the alpha value not only affects the transparency of the material, but also gradually fades the specular highlights and reflections.

For UnlitMaterial there is no specular term, so FADE looks essentially the same as TRANSPARENT. The visual difference between FADE and TRANSPARENT is only meaningful for PhysicallyBasedMaterial.
